Penn's Warhammer Guides

Penn’s Warhammer Guide is written by another player from closed beta that really knows his stuff. Like all the other guides, his goal is to get you from level 1 to level 40 in the quickest way possible. And his guide does just that.

His guide is very similar to Ashling’s Warhammer Guide. They both use a bullet/list type format detailing what quests to do, when to do them, and when to turn them in. I think Ashling’s guide comes out a little bit ahead in this area as he goes into a bit more detail than Penn’s guide does. So it basically comes down to preference; would you rather have straight to the point information or do you like a bit more detail?

Here are some of the features of Penn’s Warhammer Guide:

  • Detailed step-by-step quest paths
  • Specific instructions on how to complete EVERY quest
  • Maps for ALL zones that show you exactly where to go to complete your quests
  • Know when to change zones and where the best places are to go for your level
  • Learn tricks and techniques for leveling that are specific to Warhammer Online

Goblin Guide Review

The Goblin Guide is the latest Warhammer Online Guide. Released on October 16, 2008, it is the most comprehensive Warhammer guide to date.

Just about every other Warhammer guide publisher sells their Order and Destruction guide separately. That is not the case with the Goblin Guide. The Goblin Guide not only comes with Order and Destruction guides, it also includes a gold making guide, a renown guides, an RvR guide, and a career guides.

So, not only do you get more content with the Goblin Guide, you also get it cheaper than its competitors.

The Goblin Guide is more than just a PDF file. You also have access to leveling and gold video guides. This is something not found in our other two featured Warhammer guides.

Here are some of the features in the Goblin Guide:

  • Warhammer Online Order and Destruction leveling guide from 1-40 – Fastest way to level, using PvE or PvP or Both!
  • Video Guides – As detailed as the written guide is, there’s nothing like watching videos for detailed information
  • Warhammer Online Gold Guide – You will never have to worry about gold again with this guide in hand.
  • Warhammer Online RvR Guide – Learn how to thrive and survive while doing scenarios and raiding keeps, or just random RvR encounters

Ashlings Warhammer Guide Review

Ashlings Warhammer Guide

Ashlings Warhammer Guide

Ashling’s Warhammer Guide was one of, if not the first Warhammer Guide available. This guide was developed by a team of three hardcore players who have been playing since closed beta.

Ashling’s guide does an excellent job of covering every quest in the game for both Order and Destruction. The detailed maps with coordinates make questing enjoyable.

The Order and Destruction guides come separately, but you can get the combo pack and save 65%. The combo pack comes with both the Order and Destruction guides, and it includes these three bonus guides: RvR Scenario, RvR Builds, Warcamp Quest and crafting beginners guide.

Here are some of the features of Ashling’s Warhammer Guide:

  • 1-40 leveling guide covering every tier, chapter, and area
  • Detailed quest guide written in an easy to follow format
  • Maps with coordinates, flightpaths, and warcamps
  • Soon to be added In-game map mode
  • Free lifetime updates

Warhammer Elite Guide Review

Warhammer Elite Guide Review
Warhammer Elite Guide Review

Warhammer Elite was created by a “26 Year Old No Life Gamer”. This is a step-by-step guide that takes you from 1-40 in the fastest way possible.

There are two main differences between Warhammer Elite and Ashling’s Warhammer guide. First is the layout. Warhammer Elite covers everything in paragraph format, where as Ashling’s guide is written in more of a bullet point style. The second difference is item and quest linking. Warhammer Elite links items and quest to wardb.com. Ashling’s guide does not link any items or quests.

I prefered Ashling’s writing style over Warhammer Elites. The linking feature of the Warhammer Elite guide is nice, but not enough to push it past Ashling’s guide for the number two spot.

Like Ashling’s guide, the Order and Destruction guides are separate, but can be ordered together for a discount with the combo pack.

Here some of the features in Warhammer Elite:

  • 1-40 leveling guide for Order and Destruction covering all 4 tiers
  • Item and Quest linking to wardb.com
  • Detailed instructions with maps and screenshots
  • Free lifetime updates
